Bradford Marine Bahamas Ship Yard History In the mid-1990's Bradford Marine Fort Lauderdale realized that it would have to expand its facilities to accommodate the fast growing luxury mega-yacht fleet. In order to maintain its reputation as the premier yacht refit and repair company, Bradford Marine Fort Lauderdale took the big step of opening a new ship yard facility in the Bahamas. This deep water yard offers all the services that can be found at Bradford Marine Fort Lauderdale and uses a 1,200 tonne floating dry dock to haul out vessels up to 230 feet, with no overhead restrictions. For smaller projects the yard has also a 150 ton TraveLift. In 2009, Bradford Marine Bahamas announced the signing of a new mega-yacht service agreement with Grand Bahama Shipyard, utilizing their 27,600, 55,000, and 87,500 ton dry docks. Bradford Marine Bahamas is now the premier yacht and ship repair facility in the Bahamas. Along with its hauling capabilities, Bradford Marine Bahamas can provide dockage for any size vessel at it's 2,500 feet of docks, with a dockside depth of 25 feet and no overhead restrictions. We also can provide storage on the hard for vessels up to 120 feet. Inquiries are invited. |
